"Stan was a good solid reporter and journalist who knew how to get the story, assemble the information quickly, and get good television on the air. He was a master at his trade and a great guy to work with. He was a big part of the assembly team in the early 1970s when Channel 9 first established itself as a competitive news organization in the Kansas City market. He will be missed." --Larry Moore
"What a guy! I was lucky enough to work side by side with Stan at TV9 as well as TV5. Always friendly and always professional. They didn't come any better. His friendly smile and warm personality helped us all get through the good old days. It is sad to lose him." --Fred Broski
