KCTV BLASTED OVER RESEARCH SHOWING STATION WAS  'ANNOYING'
A blogger from the Cleveland suburb of Brecksville with a site called "The Over 50 TV Blog" (LINK) has ripped KCTV after the station's management said it had conducted research and discovered "its approach to news is annoying."
"I can't stop laughing," wrote Matthew Stevens, who has 28 years of TV experience. "Are you telling me that the people who run the place can't watch their own shows and come to that conclusion?"

In particular, Stevens pokes the station for "blowing up" its morning team of Dana Wright and Chris Pisano (see earlier story) and replacing the duo with "Greg Adeline (Adaline), .. a young, spike-haired, inexperienced anchor" and "Kelly Jones, who worked as an anchor in the metropolis known as Yuma, Arizona..."
"So the national movement toward younger, cheaper talent continues," wrote Stevens. "Management's hope, of course, is that the new team will generate improved ratings while saving money on anchor salaries."
