LITTLE RUMORED TO BE RETURNING TO KMBC-TV9

Weekend meteorologist Erin Little, who departed KMBC-TV9 in March 2006 for greener pastures at KDVR-Fox TV in Denver, is reportedly returning to KMBC.  She is expected to replace veteran meteorologist Pete Grigsby, whose contract was not renewed.
"Erin is being brought in to mirror Katie Horner (KCTV5 meteorologist)," said a source. "She is expected to bring a new sense of urgency to weather forecasts."
In Kansas City Little won an Emmy Award for her reporting in the field of Science and Environment. She also had stops in Des Moines, IA and Columbia, MO.
Little graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with degree in Atmospheric Sciences. She earned the American Meteorological Seal of Approval in 2006.
