KSHB DOES GREAT JOB FOLLOWING CAR CHASE
KSHB-TV did a superb job following a 45-minute high-speed police chase via newschopper as a criminal dangerously weaved his way through parts of Missouri and Kansas on icy roads this morning.

He later spun out and nearly collided with a parked van. He then stopped in the parking lot outside the McDonald’s near 135th and State Line Road, got out of the car and ran into the restaurant. He was later arrested.
Watching the footage you can see exactly how many lives the carjacker put in danger driving through residential neighborhoods, avoiding stop sticks, driving across lawns and going the wrong way on one-way streets with no regard for anyone but himself.
KSHB reporters Aaron Heintzelman and Curtis Jay did a great job reporting on the chase, as did pilot Captain Gregg Bourdon, who followed the action.
