Bottom Line: Kansas City radio icons Max Floyd and Tanna Guthrie (and two others) have filled age-discrimination suits over their recent firings. Fellow broadcaster Chris Stigall of KCMO-710 said on his show (2/29) that their lawsuit is "ludicrous" and that being fired is just part of the business.

Former morning-show hosts Max Floyd, 67, and Tanna Guthrie, 51, and two other on-air personalities of the former KY-99.7 allege that Entercom Communications of Philadelphia pink-slipped them because of their age. Entercom officials said the moves were made in order to relaunch the station as �99.7 The Boulevard.� �They said this was a format change,� lawyer Brian Costello, who is representing the four employees, said at a news conference Thursday. �They�re tied to that excuse.�
