FORMER CHIEFS CHEERLEADER, MRS. LOUISIANA
NAJAHE SHERMAN NEW ANCHOR AT KSHB-TV 41
    Najahe Sherman, a morning anchor at KSLA-TV in Shreveport, LA. since 2002, will be joining NBC Action News on KSHB-TV41 as a weekend morning news anchor. She will start January 25.
   She has held prime time news anchor, reporter and producer positions in the West, Midwest and South. She also is a former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader and was named "Mrs. Louisiana America."   
   Sherman holds a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Kansas received in 2002. 
  
She is a member of Hadassah (a Jewish volunteer women's organization) NABJ (The National Association of Black Journalists) and NAJA (Native American Journalist Association). 
   She has her own Wikipedia page (LINK) listing her accomplishments
and her own personal blog.
