KC STAR RUNS WRONG PHOTO OF TURNER GILL
Maybe being correct 50% of the time is okay at the Kansas City Star these days with the massive cutbacks in reporters and editors at the area's leading newspaper.
The Star ran a front page photo (12/8) of Buffalo Coach Turner Gill, who is a candidate for the head coaching job at the University of Kansas.
Unfortunately, a large (4x5) photo of "Turner Gill" on the front page of the sports section of the same edition was actually a photo of Buffalo offensive coordinator Danny Barrett.

 "
If that photo of Turner Gill is really him, he has sure changed since I knew him," said ace local sportswriter Greg Hall.
The newspaper will reportedly run a correction Wednesday.

Not Turner Gill (actually Danny Barrett)
