02-17-2010 STAR: PALIN 'THIN-SKINNED' OVER SLAM AT HANDICAPPED SON It's always interesting to see the reaction of members of the media when someone they thoroughly despise is held up for public ridicule. Normally, any offensive remarks against handicapped children, race, religion, etc., is viewed by the media as unforgivable, grievous offense. Except when it involves someone like Sarah Palin and her handicapped baby. When the "Family Guy" animated series went out of its way to make fun of her son Kansas City Star editorial page columnist Yael Abouhalkah was quick to mock Palin as being "thin-skinned." (Ironically, PR folks will tell you the most sensitive people in the world are journalists.) "Palin took after the show because she thought it portrayed people with special needs -- like her 22-month-old son, Trig -- in a bad light," wrote Abouhalkah. See the clip and judge for yourself.
