BABB JOINS KC STAR SPORTS STAFF
By nearly every measurement the Kansas City Star has one of the leading sports sections in the nation. This is reflected by the numerous awards won every year by the reporters there, and the fact that nearly sportswriter who departs moves on to bigger and better things. It looks like the latest hire--Kent Babb--is following in that tradition. Babb joined the Star in December as the Kansas City Chiefs' reporter and his latest feature (1/28) on the career of Dennis Franchione is riveting.
