EX-CHIEF JOE PHILLIPS HIGHLIGHTED ON HBO
    He seemed to have it all, but former Kansas City Chiefs lineman Joe Phillips today is a fugitive from justice and has been on the run for more than two years.
    The saga of Joe Phillips and his family is currently being featured as part of a segment on "Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel" on HBO in a story about dramatic falls by three former football players once their careers concluded.
   Phillips and his wife, Cindy, seemed to be prepared for life after football.  He received his law degree and worked at Sprint during the off-season.  However, it did not turn out that way.
