As you may have seen in the Kansas City Star this morning there was a very nice article about Ms. Starr. I went on line, Google'd her and found several sites bearing information about her. As I stumbled upon yours and read " there is much confusion about ...", I was confused. What negativity? I am assuming you are a journalist, or at least call your self one. Kudos for the man who wrote the KC article on her as it seems as though he did some research before just writing something to gain the attention of others. Curious, I emailed Mark Grant Photography and asked what the spin was about the negativity. He told me you credited her (for lack of a better word) for landing the job for her "measurements and no talent". If this is so, why did you take that out? Was it because it made you look bad for not doing your research and just pinning something on someone that you know nothing about? You are making it look like she lied about her age when Mr. Grant said you took that from the one model place which was started when she was 25 and not updated. And yes, I know Holly Starr. I taught her during her Junior and Senior year and for the 10 years now that I have known her, I have never met someone more deserving, inteligent and with a better moral compass. If you have not had the pleasure to meet her, you have indeed missed out. I am sure you have probably gotten more attention from writing about her than you have ever received before but you need to follow up on your work assignments and not gain attention from negative, non supported stories that don't even make sense. That makes you look bad. Hopefully you will print this too.
