Summary: There's an old saying about being careful about kicking ass on the way up because you may have to kiss those asses on the way down. That seems to be the case with Randy Miller, who burned many bridges (see Eric "Mancow" Muller) on the way up the radio ladder in Kansas City, and is now asking for support.  02-03-2008

Vote for Randy

This just in from legendary KC radio personality Randy Miller

In this age of politically charged rhetoric, I hereby declare myself a CANDIDATE FOR THE MORNING SHOW HOST ON 99.7, THE BOULEVARD, Miller e-mails. I talk to people every day that say they want me back on the radio maybe thats just to get me off TV, but, whatever here is their chance.

The age group the Boulevard caters to those are MY PEOPLE!! I know the music, and Im ready to perform. I have a lot of things I need to say to Kansas City, and not only to the purse lady.

Millers advice to fans interested in hearing him on local airwaves again, albeit in abbreviated form as the Boulevard plans to concentrate more on music and less on DJ chatter: If you want me to do the morning show on the Boulevard, you can let (Entercom KC honcho) Dave Alpert know at: [email protected].

Miller may be on to something. The combination of less jabber time and his mellowing with age might be just what the radio doctor ordered to keep Miller out of trouble.
