Frank Arena and Jeff Hirst of KCtalk.com flank Jenn Strathman of KSHB-TV41 at a meeting to discuss alleged misdeeds by a local auto dealer.
SUMMARY: The alleged misdealings by the former Chad Franklin Suzuki (now Legend Suzuki of KC) have become such a major issue in Kansas City that administrators on kctalk.com, an on-line discussion forum, hosted a panel discussion Friday (5/23) night to air their grievances.
   Jenn Strathman, who has done
numerous stories on the dealership's questionable dealings, attended the meeting and is expected to air a piece on it this week.   05-26-2008
LEGEND SUZUKI VICTIMS SQUARE OFF
AT PUBLIC MEETING

A crowd of about 50 folks attended a special two-hour meeting at the Villa in KCMO Friday night to discuss their problems with Legend Suzuki (formally Chad Franklin Suzuki).  The meeting was hosted by KCTalk.com, with many of those on hand posters who have complained about their treatment at the dealership.
Speakers included Frank Arena and Jeff Hirst, administrators at KCtalk, and attorneys Michael and John Whitehead.
Attendees told numerous horror stories regarding their treatment at the dealership. A Class Action lawsuit has been asked for and has been referred to Federal Court.  However, attorneys are asking to bring it back to State Court to help with jurisdictional issues.
"Many of the stories that were told bordered on being unbelievable, but participants had the paperwork to back up their claims," says Arena.  "Everyone had documentation to prove what they were saying."
Officials from Legend Suzuki had asked Arena to be on the agenda, but then failed to atttend.
