BAD DAY AT OFFICE FOR DR. JACOBS 07-06-2008 Sports psychologist Dr. Andrew Jacobs has a radio talk show that airs Sunday mornings on WHB-810 between 7-8 a.m. He has been doing the show for 16 years on different stations at various times. On Sunday (7/6) he probably wished he never even went to the studio. Generally, the conversation is very low-key and focuses on what makes various athletes successful. "Are you having a bad day, doctor?" "How come you never mention the God-given talents these athletes have?" "Do you believe in God?" Dr. Jacobs ended up cutting off caller after caller as he desperately tried to get the show back on a more positive track. The final few callers were positive, but by that time the hour was pretty much over. An obviously frustrated Jacobs noted, "There must be something in the water today with callers. Some callers went a bit too far with their comments. "Sometimes we have some interesting callers and topics..."
