02-23-2010 JERRY AGAR DEPARTS CHICAGO FOR TORONTO Veteran radio talk show host Jerry Agar will depart WLS in Chicago to return to his native Canada to assume duties as the midday talk personality at CFRB-AM. The station is the leading news/talk station in Toronto. Agar was replaced by Mike Shanin and Scott Parks as the afternoon talker on NewsTalk 980 KMBZ in Kansas City in 2006 when he took the Chicago position. The Manitoba native is good friends with KMBZ evening talker Darla Jaye.
