KMBZ'S JAYE NAMED A TOP TALKER IN NATION
NewsRadio 980 KMBZ-AM talker Darla Jaye has been named one of the top talk show hosts in the nation for the fourth straight year, according to a list compiled by Talkers magazine (LINK).
Jaye, whose "980 Live With Darla Jaye" airs at 6-9 p.m. weekdays (when not pre-empted as it often is) was the only KC-area talker to make any of the lists of 250 top talk show hosts.
According to the editors of Talkers magazine, the winners were chosen based on "courage, effort, impact, longevity, potential, ratings, recognition, revenue, service, talent and uniqueness."
The editors selected the Top 100 talkers in the nation and the top ten included:
1. Rush Limbaugh
2. Sean Hannity
3. Glenn Beck
4. Michael Savage
5. Dr. Laura Schlessinger
6. Laura Ingraham
7. Dave Ramsey
8. Mark Levin
9. Lou Dobbs
10. Thom Hartmann
