JOPO DISCUSSES COMPLEXITIES OF MITCH ALBOM
      Leave it to Joe Posnanski, former Kansas City Star columnist and now senior writer at Sports Illustrated, to eloquently pen his feelings about fellow sportswriter Mitch Albom (LINK).
    Unlike Star columnist Jason Whitlock's recent vitriolic (and personal) attack of "Myth" Albom, JoPo wrote on his blog how Albom (who was recently given the influential "Red Smith" award by the Associate Press) influenced him to become a sportswriter. 
    On the other hand, JoPo pointed out that Albom definitely has some major character flaws.
    It should be noted that Bottom Line Communications handled public relations duties for Albom a few years ago when he came to town to deliver a speech and sign books at Johnson County Community College.
  
    While Albom is a remarkable talent, he takes cockiness and his own self-importance to new levels. 
    Ironically, his speech focused on his "Tuesdays With Morrie" book and the importance of humbleness...
